I remember
One day long ago
All I have to remember
Is one single photo

My daddy took me
He loved me so
He took me in his arms
His heart like jell-o

He had to leave me
To save people from harm
The reason he left
Was that silly alarm

It was dangerous
The terrorists came
On September eleventh
My dad’s life went up in flames

He had saved
Fifty people
When he went
And became an angel

He watches me now
From up above
I sometimes see him
In the form of a dove

Yes I miss him
But this I know
I always see him
In that single photo
