WIN and LOST

by michael   Jul 10, 2007

Crouching in the long lost leaves
thousands of warriors
died on these

Tons of blood
scattered around
metal clatters
as men fall to the ground

War is won and
War is lost
Either way men are gone

Their families morn
They hate the lost

But the government
insists its a good cost

Once again a poem not fitting the genre, a good job but this would be best put into the patriotic section or such.
