Rain Storms

by Kristin   Jul 10, 2007

It rains, It pours
And I watch this storm
The lightening, bright
The wind howls
And Thunder screams
I love every minute of it

I run outside, soaked to the bone
I lie on the grass
Letting the rain drops hit me so fast
Cold shivers up my spine

I run down the street through the rain
Not stopping at all
I run and run
Until I fall

I collapse in the street
Tears mixed with rain drops
I sit in the intersection
Crying and crying
And why I don't know
Just tired of hiding it all inside
I let it all out, as the rain hits my back

Until I'm all dried out
I stand and see a rainbow appear
And then I know
No matter what I fear
Someone will always be there

The poem was pretty good. I dont much like freeverse because it is EXTREMELY hard to make a good rythm. It looks like you tried, but came just short of making the perfect rhythm. A little more work on this one and it'll be amazing.
