Just One More Chance (Mirrored Refrain)

Just One More Chance (Mirrored Refrain)

Sitting upon the great stone steps she watches the rain
Soaking her hair, wiping her cheeks she looks up to the sky
She folds her hands together, and gets on to one knee;
"I can prove it, just one more chance, this time I won't lie."

Her mind began to wither as she listened to the water drip
Finally getting the strength to move under the locust tree,
"I can prove it, just one more chance, this time I won't lie..."
She folds her hands together, and gets on to one knee.

Taking out his picture, a tear slips down her face
Not about to say goodbye, and not able to just slip by
She folds her hands together, and gets on to one knee;
"I can prove it, just one more chance, this time I won't lie."

Thunder began to shake the valley, as lightning lit her path
"I know you don't believe me, but this I guarantee...
I can prove it, just one more chance, this time I won't lie..."
She folds her hands together, and gets on to one knee.
