Broken wings of ours

by Em   Jul 10, 2007

All the bird flies away
No one longer wants to stay
The bird with broken wing has come
No one listen to his song
He leaves alone on the ground
No one wants to hear his sound
Black eyes and evil glares
So innocently he back stares
He stretches out his wings and tries to fly
He wants so desperately up to the sky
In his black eyes I see myself
I'm also alone and stuffed back on a shelf
I help the bird with the broken wing
And I listen when he sing
He sings about the loneliness inside
And about the other birds pride
With my own broken wing
I also start to sing
I sing about my friend who now is gone
And the bird listens to my song
With the broken wings of ours
And with our great powers
We learn from each other
And about others we don't bother
If you see a spot on the sky
You know it's him who learned to fly
And when a girl so mentally strong you see
I promise you, you see me

*This is a poem I made of the situation I'm in*
