Pray Gold Be Wrapped In Love

by rajankrjha   Jul 10, 2007

Life had ended for me even before it began
When you told me I never would be your man
Shearing words plunging into my heart
I could just watch my dreams tear apart

A beauty I wished to share my life
To walk beside in joy and in strife
So I wished in me I would see you
And our love would forever be true

But than I was a man of meager means
You had envisaged a much bigger dream
For you my love was not worth a penny
A love you could come across in so many

Now that you walk away from my sight
A nightmare which now turns into flight
The pain deepens and so does my sorrow
to look into the night awaiting a new morrow

I wonder now that you have gone and left me
The riches that you seek the future you see
with the man who would weigh you in gold
would he still be around when you grow old

For riches and splendor come and go away
True love would it ever again walk your way
I will forever cherish the love which I believed was true
Pray that gold you wished be wrapped in love for you.
