I thought I was something.

by Christina   Jul 10, 2007

I thought I was not lonely
I thought that you were there
but then I realized something
you're telling lies like breathing air.

I am afraid to think it
I am afraid to know
that I was just a nothing
but I believed you so.

I cannot believe it
you're standing infront of me
I want to say "I love you"
but you watch me crying without saying "dont be".

You like to see me suffer, don't you?
you like killing my life
your brown eyes made me love you
your brown eyes watched this knife.

This knife is going deeper
deeper in my heart
with every second passing
you leave me in the dark.

I am dying honey,help me
help me cause I'm lost
please don't do that, don't betray me
that's what hurts the most.

I liked this poem because you could tell it was the truth, through your writing. you didn't try to make it perfect, you just wrote what you felt.. which is what a real poet should do :). 5/5, definitely. i wouldn't vote any differently.

    - i would also like to say thank you for commenting on my poem. it was a poem that means a lot to me. so thank you very much.

i can't wait to read more of your stuff .
