Unappreciated Friendship

by JUSTanotherGIRLx3   Jul 10, 2007

Through the boys and the lies
Through all the laughs and even the cries
We were always there for you
We thought you would do the same for us too
When you needed us
We would be by your side in a rush
When you were feeling down
All you had to do was turn around
We would always be right there
To share a laugh with you or simply just to care
So now where are you when we need you?
Oh! That's right, you're with your new crew

One day those people won't want you
They won't give a shit what happens to you or what you do
You'll realize somewhere down the track
We're the ones who always had your back
So when you wonder why this friendship never made it to the end
It's because we're sick of your s**t and we can no longer pretend
You always put them before us
You took granted of our loyalty and trust
So think about it, sooner or later, your so-called friends will walk out that door
But don't come crying to us because you won't be our problem anymore

This reminds me so much of myself. I have been betrayed and fooled by so many false friends! Now I am all alone and don't really trust anyone. You have a talent for bringing this out in a way I never could. 5/5
