He And I ...Solid Hopes

by Kirsty palmer   Jul 10, 2007

He looked at me as I looked at him
The love was felt from deep within
Love at first sight, as soon as we met
Hearts formed like a silhouette

The smile appeared from his lips
Covering those teeth; a total eclipse
His head then tilts as he closed his eyes
We begin to kiss under the starry skies

Holding me tight as he strokes my hair
Letting me know that he will always be there
I walk with a skip as I know he is true
And all I want to say is "thank you"

He made me realise some boys are diverse
And now I know love isn't a curse
He was so special in all that he said
And knew love was laying ahead

I wish I could have caught his name
Instead of being left as he'd proclaim;
"It was just a kiss- there is nothing more"
Then drop I would- to the floor

I shall not forgive him though
And this I think he should know
For every finger that he points at me
He has pointing back at him three

For the faults that he may find
are not far from his own mind
He isn't as perfect as he may have seemed
And unknown feelings I have redeemed

So back to the start I will return
And wait until boys will learn
Girls are not all the same
But no one deserves to be played by your game

I hope that you will soon realise your wrong
And that we are not all strong
Stop breaking people's hearts and dreams
Stop and listen to the crying screams.
