Ten.... Where Were You Then??

by Dying Beautifully   Jul 11, 2007

It was my tenth year,
All you did was drown yourself in beer.
But it wasn't your fault,
It was a time of celebration and you wanted the malt.
You decided to drive,
It's like your brain wasn't alive.
You swerved and the cop noticed,
Your eyes were gleaming like show bizz.
But he let you go,
And you should of been smarter to know.
That he'd stop you again,
And that he'd bring you in.
On my birthday,
You drank the pain away.
It was your first year missing it,
And our relationship became a bottomless pit.
Because you blew it all away,
And now you life is nothing but a waste.
And I love you I really do,
But if I had done it to you.
What would you have done at ten,
Would youstill consider me a friend?
