Surrender

by Arun Khan   Jul 11, 2007

I surrender
Stop this insignificant war
I will always remember
Pull back the armies back
Pull the ships of chaos back to shore
Life is beautiful, life is dark
Life is cheap,
She beds you, weds you
Then leaves you.
Broken and destroyed you surrender
But you'll always remember
On our knees, we plead
Please show mercy
Justice is blind
That witch never did it for me
There is no forgiveness
There is no salvation
Redemption is unheard of
Uncaring unforgiving unspoken words of
Empty smiles
Heartless heartfelt kisses
Only a distance for miles and miles
Alas yet but dismisses
A worthless resistance
My stubborn persistence
I surrender
Bow down my head, fall to my knees
But I remember
Just finish me,
For I surrender to thee
I fold, hear the truth be told
Please I won't remember
Please mercy, I will surrender.
