To my teacher..

by Christina   Jul 11, 2007

Close to death, by that time, i was.
Why? To most a hidden cause.
I needed help. I knew it true,
And so i headed straight to you

You said before you would be there
If ever i needed someone's care.
And true to your word you always were
My confession in you cause naught a stir

You held me up through darkened times,
(This is hard to say in Rhyme)
But all I'm really trying to say
Is you are why I'm here today

Because of you my arms are bare
Of cuts and such that once were there
And now no secrets haunt my mind
The real me, not hard to find

Teacher, you were never scant,
You understand what others can't
And now my heart, so deep within,
Must thank you Mr. Sabourin.

I wrote this for my teacher after he helped me with my..erm..problem

..but i haven't given it to him yet..
Tell me what you think

Hun, I really like this poem and can completely relate. I had a teacher who saw me when I was invisible. Please, tell him how much he means to you. It can make all the difference. :)
    Best Wishes,
    Sarah
