Worlds Apart

by FountainsOfBlood   Jul 11, 2007

In his own world
Blood would be shed
Nasty remarks would be hurled
Full of fear and dread

The world for her?
No more recurring nightmares
Bad things become a blur
And everyone cares

All he can think about
Blood dripping down their wrist
And everyone was living without
Tender love and care, they just exist

She reminisces on the sweet bliss
Smiles all around her, not a tear in sight
No more isolation, not a single soul amiss
Life was structured, without the need of fight

He walks along this empty street
Torturing his own mind
Seeing people burning in the heat
Answers he cannot find

She walks along that same street
Thinking of the past
Her thoughts whole and complete
The pace of her steps became fast

They draw closer together
Not able to see one another
They collide into the opposite world
Seeing what's on the other side
