You Don't Matter

by On Cupids Bad Side   Jul 11, 2007

You know, I've dreamed of this day for so long,
To see you again and show you that I've moved on.

I planned out all the things I wanted to say,
To make you feel sorry for going away.

I planned to hurt you like you hurt me that day,
I wanted revenge, wanted to make you pay.

I wanted to show you how much I've changed and grown,
I don't need you anymore, I can make it on my own .

I wanted to laugh in your face when you'd ask for another chance,
To turn and walk away, without even a glance.

I wanted to mess up your life like you did mine,
That time when you kissed me, you had crossed the line.

I wanted to tell you that you're a pathetic excuse for a man,
I couldn't say no to you then, but now I sure can.

And now that day is finally here,
And I'm looking in your eyes, without any fear.

I will not say all those things I planned before,
Because I realized you just don't matter anymore.
