Abandoned in Chains

by Ixora   Jul 11, 2007

If i ask you to hold me
please push me far away
I need to learn now
What words refuse to say

My mind wont accept my failure
And my heart wont let me tell
The things i crave and dream and wish for
Hidden inside my shell

Its like a horror movie pressed on repeat
With the fear I'll never know
And the sorrow that overcomes me
Well i try to never let it show

The arms and eyes that caress me
Do so for them self
And i stand like a trophy
Just to be placed on their shelf

One day ill break free
From all of this ill learn how
One day ill belong to me
I'm just too tired now

Another beautiful poem, Crow! I really enjoy your work, and this.. Oh my gosh, it was just amazing and I can't describe how much I loved it and how much I really enjoyed reading it. In some ways I can connect to this.. It's right, sometimes you do need to hear refusing words. Way to go, Crow! I really hope to read another excellent poem from you soon!! Take care love! 5/5 <3 <3 <3
