I miss you.

I miss's you said over the phone. I'll see you again said in a promising tone. late night phone talks make me break down and cry. Knowing each one is closer to goodbye. I can hear your hope starting to fade. Day after day a new problem is made. Dying inside but the strengths still there. Reassuring you ill always care. We still say " I love you " But have the feelings changed? The distance seems farther day after day. Can love last while the heart breaks? I don't know how much more i can take. I still feel your presence even though your not here. Not ever speaking to you again is my biggest fear. Your so close but so far away don't even know what im trying to say. The distance can grow and take us apart. But ill always have a place for you in my heart.
