Optimistic depression pt 1

by brianna   Jul 11, 2007

Dear diary,
another day has gone by,
no touch, no love, no feelings.
only if I could capture him...
capture him in my eyes...
like he captures me in his...
today, an example better then any
walking beside him glancing his way,
and him, not even aware,
this isn't going anywhere,
signed me.

dear journal,
I walked by her today,
no love in her eyes,
and no strength to say,
I love you baby girl
will you be mine?
god, I'm just to shy.
emotionless, I feel
kicking and screaming
Ive lost my soul.

dear diary,
of all days, today is the best,
for this is the one that put my love,
to the test.
I said hi, as I was sitting by him.
he blew me away with the most
remarkable words, "hello"
I smiled, as did he
I love him, I am sure.
signed me

dear journal,
today had been intense,
she sat next to me,
I tried to cross the fence.
way to shy
all I got out was a hi
I love her
but I cant make this real
so just excuse my poor excuse

when love is kept, behind the lines, its hard to look into ones eyes,
every day should be lived well, relieving you from a hell, now love asks us why? and we sigh, and we sigh

Very very imaginative concept. this is what poetry tries to draw from within...different aspects and views. definately first rate.
