Isn't It Lovely

by Brittany C   Jul 12, 2007

Laying on her back,
in a field of wildflowers.
That fill the air with
their heavenly essence.

She watches the clouds
take the shapes of animals.
Shape shifting into rabbits and dragons,
castles and grand cathedrals.

As the sun begins to set
behind the rolling foothills,
the clouds are kissed by
the suns radiant rays.

Giving the clouds
soft touches of color,
that any one would have
said was amazingly beautiful.

Isn't it just lovely!

How lovely, indeed. I truly find this piece quite delightful to read; in fact, the childlike essence of it endears me exceedingly. Simple, yet enchanting descriptions to say the least. I myself am quite fond of such delicacies in nature, which also includes watching the clouds and so-ons and so-ons; so I thoroughly can connect with this piece. Nice one. :] Thanks for sharing. 5.0
