Do You Love Me

by Goran Rahim   Jul 12, 2007

You lighted up my nights
By a fake hope,
Making me believe in you.
You said you love me,
Your sweet words
Made me fall for you.
You made me dream,
Dream of all the charms.
Dream of a moment
When I will have you in my arms.
You gave me hope
For a desired love,
Something the heart wanted to see.
Now I am asking you
A simple question,
Do you mean it?
Do you love me?

The question that riddles the minds of many, i feel that this is one of the most asked questions in human existance, seemingly almost all live under the umbrella of love. nicely written, except for an expected ryhme (charm/arm). doesnt hurt the poem any though. (:

    good write.

It's funny how easily we can be fooled by a few simple words, I think our hearts always want to believe what we hear sometimes. amazing poem and great flow, very heartfelt. Excellent job 5/5 GG23
