An immortal life

by BEHROZE K PATEL   Jul 12, 2007

I have no wish to lead an immortal life
For this mortal life itself is too long a life

What a depressing thought i thought to myself
Then wondered why i thought it was depressing

Life is an experience worth going through once
But again and again would be a bit tiresome

If the struggle is between good and bad
Then why does our souls get draged into it

Soul strives for perfection in human form
But humans have never been know to be perfect

It seems a wasted journey at times
And at times well worth all it's hassels

I have no wish to lead an immortal life
Just to make this one worth my while
