A Collapsing Development

by Vic   Jul 12, 2007

Sometimes I don't know
Which influence to choose.
Between the mind and heart,
which speaks the greater truth?

This isn't just a fairy tale
With an expected happy ending.
Unpredictable and ever changing,
"Bad choices" seem to have no ending.

I'm fighting within
There can't be two rights at the same time.
Yet both goods infiltrate
Into the mind sublime.

A dark past is held
By one rose dead withered.
And the other rose beautiful
More enticing and better.

The choice of history,
Or a bright risk to the morrow.
A sense of redeeming
After the reign of sorrow.

An obvious answer
Yet mind power is strong.
But how do I know
It's not my heart that's wrong?

    Hmm. people make
mistakes. you'll just have to deal with
the decision you make. no one's perfect.
just remember that. good luck with your
    decision though.
