The Warrior

by FallenAngel   Jul 12, 2007

His brothers are dead, he stands alone
For killing his comrades, they must atone
Before moon is gone, before sun rises
He'll show the enemy he's full of surprises

The first demon charges
Its claws sharp, coated in blood
With a swing of his sword
Its entrails begin to flood

The creature wails, keels over and dies
And the rest stare at him with evil red eyes
He drops his sword, his smirk suddenly fades
And with a slight of his hand, he reveals hidden blades

He charges with a roar, a bellow of rage
He will have revenge for being locked in their cage

He slashes left, he stabs to the right
He continues to slaughter everything in sight
When his foes lay dead, unmoving and still
He realises that his only purpose in life is to kill

Left alone on this hill, of blood and battle
The enemy came to him, like a mob of stupid cattle
He was freed from his cage by a secret love
Only to see her die and ascend to the skies above
With nothing left, all hope now gone
He sees the sun rising , a new dawn
He smiles and thinks of his love now lost
And ends his life with no regard of cost

As he dies, he roars out in pain
And realises he will never see her again
Where she's gone he cannot go
The denies himself, please god no
And with a final wince, and a dying yell
He exclaims "Why do i have to goto hell!"
