Life Before Satans World

by oddi tea   Jul 12, 2007

As I breathe
This toxic air
Let me know
That you are there

As my speech
Begins to slur
The tears roll down
In empty air

I cant remember
How long its been
Lets go back
To where it began

Before the mask
Where I had
One single task

I had to watch
For danger ahead
The voice was silenced
And then it fled

There was no denial
No need for alarm
Just her dancing
Beauty charm

But now I lay
So sore at heart
You draw me closer
Just to tear me apart

Now I must go
Its time to retire
I will make my home
In the unending fire

Very nice.. a little uneasy.. perhaps you should work a little more on it, with no offense, some small touches, maybe a little longer lines it would be magnificent! not that it isn't impressive nevertheless.
