Yawn

by Spirit   Jul 12, 2007

It starts with one person,
and then it begins to grow,
going from one to another,
the spreading begins to flow.

Soon all seem to have it,
as it now fans out,
yet this virus scares no one,
and not a person shouts.

None must know what's happening,
or fewer seem to care,
no matter how much I tell them,
they don't know that its out there.

It squirms from person to person,
but none seem recall,
that a horrible thing happen,
it now spreads through out us all.

This contagious disses is here,
still none have left or gone,
so then they are not afraid,
of the terrible horrible yawn.

(This if for all the tired people out there
go a head and yawn)

Haha yeah, yawning is a disease!
    on suggestion

"it now spreads threw out us all."
    should be
"it now spreads through out us all."

    5/5

Ha! This is cute. I always said the yawn was contagious! Cute subject, decent flow, definitely a fun poem to read. Two things, though:

"it now spreads threw out us all."
    (threw out should be throughout)

    "This contagious disses is here,"
(is disses supposed to be disease?)

    Well done!
    Keep it up.
    Take Care,
    Smiles,
