Together as friends

I know I threw away what we were,
And what we could have been,
But I thank you now with all my heart,
For showing me the love I've seen.

I never knew that anyone,

I miss you now,
But you don't know,

I'm still scared to show.

You know I love you,
But you don't believe,
That even though I did it,

"What have you done?!"

We agreed it was probably for the best,
