Unlike any other

I yon
Fall back
Lay my head on the soft pillow below me
Wondering if this day could get any worse
Eye lids fell heavy
And I fall back into a deep sleep
As my head full of thoughts
And my mind running crazy
My mind finds a spot
To stop and to dream
This dream was unlike any other

It was a place of peace
A place to call my very own
To stay and to leave
When I please
A place that welcomed me
A place that didn't judge me
A place unlike any other

The people were nice
But they leafed when you didn't want them
As the sun sets
And glows on the lake below it
The stars shine so much brighter than that place I use to call home
It was unlike any other sight I've seen

But I know this dream must end
Reality must come
But I know now that when I need to escape
I close those eyes of mine
And let that magical place just come to me
This dream was unlike any other
It was my new home!
