Dark Depression

by Kayla   Jul 13, 2007

Painful secrets she hides them well
Looking out the window the clouds are Grey
No more sunshine in her life
People have brought her down
Beat her down
And left her hurt
Alone and scared
Depression sinks into her soul
Eating her alive
Crying is no longer the answer
Red beaded lines appear on her body
Her family and friends have left her
She longs for a way out of these black, battered walls
Somewhere to escape to
Where there is no pain
No lies
Only love
But darkness has taken over her
And there is no way out

This was very intense. It made me feel like I was the girl in that poetry. This was so great. I loved it. I loved every bit of it.
