I've Heard That Song Before (CinqTroisDecaLa Rhyme)

by Jenni Marie   Jul 13, 2007

Sure we've heard this song before, but I wasn't going to tell
Playing same old melodies, which is reminding me of hell
Smiling sadly as you sit there looking at me in askance
Bitterly recalling when we swayed to our own lover's dance
Believed your lies all this time, yet you were stringing me along
Never once caring that you hurt me, or what you did was wrong
Now you're begging and pleading, but it's time for me to be strong
You're sorry now yet when I needed you, you watched as I fell
Theme is getting old, when it used to be a perfect romance
Apologize all you want, but I've already heard this song.

CinqTroisDecaLa Rhyme-Consists of 10 lines, each with 15 syllables. Rhyme scheme is aabbccabc

Wow this is so strong , written with such emotion, so sad, but yet it is still a wonderful piece of writing, I love your work.
