Isolation

by Shadow   Jul 13, 2007

This poem is old i wrote it over a year so I dont remember...

Blue flames warped around us.
We embrace each other with care
As we make no fuss
At the crowd coming to share.

Our love is rarity,
Some point and mock,
Some applause our bravery,
As most look in shook.

"It shouldn't be"
Most say.
"It will not last, you'll see"
They will chide as they stray.

The flames begin to roar
The luminousness of its ferocity,
Can be seen by yet more,
Its time we end this audacity

I reach my hand out,
To pull it back,
Without even a shout
I prove what i don't lack.
