I disagree...i think it is a fantastic poem with a fantastic inspiration that made it come to be...alzheimers may well be the worst type of disease a human gets because it hurts everyone on a deep and personal level as an emotional disease...i thought u portrayed it very well and it was a beautiful yet sad poem all in all

    I, too disagree.
This is a fantastic poem that is filled with a huge inspiration. :) Lovely job on this one. The emotions were strong & the flow was good.

I had a head injury three months past and I have trouble with current things but not the past. I can feel their frustration and it must be one of the cruelest diseases, I think you are one of the best poets I have read, I also added Bob Shanks to my favourites today for the themes and structure. But your poemsa re truely wonderful I will read many when Im not sleeping which seems to be the norm since I was punched.

So expressive. You made me realise the depths of the disease and what it's really like. A few people in my family have this and it is such a tragedy to see it happen thankyou for expressing this to us and making me aware. I loved how the lines got longer as you went along it was really effective. The flow was great and didn't falter at all. A great read. ~Mel

A very emotional piece - it actually reminds me of my grandmother. It's sad and is able to convey the emotions behind a horrible disease.

A friend of mine had a grandmother who had the same thing..so its almost chilling to see just how accurate your poem is to what actually happens..its a sad condition and you captured that in this poem, great work
