Why Try?

Why try when your not going to end up anywhere?
You put your blood, sweat, and tears, and in the end, no one cares.

You tried so hard
you gave it your all.
But without someone having your guard,
why keep going if everything you achieved will eventually fall.

Why try if no one is going to pick you up?
your just a sitting duck.
When everything of your's is taken away, you just don't give a F**k.

Your mind turns blank
you feel like your in space.
And without anyone around to pull to back, you'll be stuck forever in that place.

Why try when someone is going to take your spot.
They will take your glory and everything you got.
So why try when everything you did will wash away.
It's not like your going to get it back someday...

*Just to make this clear THIS POEM IS NOT ABOUT ME. I wrote this poem because I know there are some people who think this way....like my best friend.

    I like the ending sentence it was a very strong conclusion to the poem and the poem itself was well written. im glad you dont think that way because its kind of the thoughts of someone whose given up, and ofcourse thats never good..i hope you're able to inspire your friend to see in a positive way maybe you should show them this poem so they can see you understand...
