Where the streets have no names.

Where the streets have no name.

A thousand miles away,
you lie awake at night.
Thinking of the day,
and thinking of our fight.
Your tears, they stain
the porcelain face of yours.
Your screams, they ring
within miles and miles of doors.
Your secrets are hidden,
from the world, but not me dear.
I can see so far within you,
that it makes me fear;
Fear for your life,
fear for your love.
Oh, baby I fear..
I fear more than you'd think of.

A thousand miles away,
you sit upon the corner,
awaiting someone to cast you away
into a world of of foreigner's.
You know you'd fit in,
with everything but
that color of your skin.
You know you would.
And, you scream and you cry.
I see, I see.. Oh I see.
I see exactly why.
I see within you, yes I do.
As you wonder in that town,
where the streets have no names.
Oh, oh, oh.. to you baby, to you..
it's just a bunch of games.

And, A thousand miles away
I lie awake, wondering where you are.
Because, it's proved that
you've left me with the biggest scar.
