She was more than a dog to a lot of people
She was a savour, a member of the family and a friend
A dog full of life, who did as she was told
A family dog; that no one can comprehend
Her soft white fur that remained on the floor
And up against your clothes if she sat too near
Panting constantly gazing into the air
Yes, she was a dog who was very dear

Loved by everyone who came to see her
Even though she sometimes did things wrong
Like unwrapping Christmas presents
Which to her they did not belong
Or times she would sneak into your room
And play around with things she's not meant to
But forgive her you did because you would love her
No matter what she went through

Misty will be looking down on you all
Showing her teeth as she will smile and reminisce
About all the times you showed love to her
And I'm sure that you will all be missed
Now even though times are hard
And you feel like giving up
You should think about your regard
For all the memories of that special dog
Will never leave your heart
No one can take them away from you
They will still mean as much as they did from the start
