Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (To Eternal Sorrow)

by Weeping Wolf   Jul 15, 2007

Hark! What angels do sing?
for when bells do ring
I hear nothing but sound loneliness creates...
The only sound that keeps me still and silent for so long a time.
Remembering.
Remembering.
Grieving.
Weeping.
And the bell goes on ringing...

Ignorance may be bliss
and awareness be missed
in a time you need it most...

Forever vulnerable to desires of invincibility
unable to ever weigh the immensity to cry and bleed
If it is eternal sunshine of the spotless mind
then it is eternal sorrow of the damaged kind.

So to any who is without a home
To any that have always been alone
Don't search for cures to the past
Or yearn for all regrets to cast [away]
For poison, once struck in your blood
Runs through your veins to vessels of love.

So through Life's toils and trials
Listen intently as the bell tells
To just keep Beating. Beating. Beating. Beating.
