Nothing But Dreams

by Principessa   Jul 15, 2007

She said if she had the chance to let the world see,
"Not what's on the outside but what's inside me".

They would see her, laying on the ground,
No confidence to stand or to make a sound.

A quiet girl, who doesn't have much to say,
And th smallest compliment will make her day.

As she walks with people on either side,
All she wants to do is hide.

Holding her head down to not draw attention,
To herself is her only intention.

She stands, surrounded by an ocean of tears,
Symbolizing all her worries and fears.

Knowing that how she wants to be,
Is nothing but a distant dream.
