I can definitely relate to this, many of my own stuff has similiar themes. You've perfectly captured the feelings of love, loss, melancholia and a longing for what is gone, the past. It is hard to move on sometimes, to let go of things we don't want to let go of, but sometimes we realize what was not meant to be, we heal, we move on. If you spend you're time looking back, you can't see where you're going.....Excellent poem, very well done.
