Tears running down my cheeks, Blood running down my wrists.

by Pamela   Jul 15, 2007

Tears and blood drop onto the floor,
While I'm thinking: I don't want this anymore!
The bleeding stops, I can still feel the pain.
I bite my lips, I have gone insane.

I taste the blood, on my lips,
Onto the floor, another tear drips.
No-one can see, no-one can know,
Cause in a minute, I've got to start another show.

This was the first and last time I cut.
To you who've never done it: Keep your mouth shut!
It feels good, but it's bad in the end.
I realized it, before it got out of hand.

To you who still do it:
Be wise and turn "do" into "did".

I am currently trying to turn that "i do it" into a "i did it." I'm glad you were able to stop yourself before you got dug in too deep. I, on the other hand, was not so lucky to have the kind of sense you do. but I love this poem. 5/5 It's really great inspiration for other people. and thanks for the comment
