I see you just a few times a day
As I walk past your desk
I see you sitting there
In all your wonder
Yet all I can do is smile
At first I didn't give it a second thought
But as the days have passed
You have been slowly drifting into my mind
For when I get to see you smile
The world seems to stop
And butterflies fill my stomach
But everything about you is a mystery to me
I have no clue what your likes or dislikes are
Or even your pet peeves
But I do know I am interested in you
The cute girl sitting behind the desk
That I get to see
Just a few times a day
And maybe one day soon
I will work up the courage
To walk up to you
And tell you how cute you are
And how I want to take you out one evening
All I can hope is you will blush
Then show me your adorable smile
And say yes
------NOTE------
Why am I so afraid to ask the girl I described in this poem out on a date?
