Time Will Come

by Andrew Morton   Jul 15, 2007

Ignorance and bliss lay hand-in hand
definitely a match made in heaven
unseperable they will always be
the hope thats burried in the sand

those who are smart tend to hide
in a place where they cant be found
i have yet to find this spot
so i choose to close these eyes

true happiness has been mistaken
in the things that we all do
masked by what we surround ourselves
as if these things can't be taken

with joy will come satisfaction
with satisfaction will come joy
a time will come soon enough
throughout the midst of destruction

    with satisfaction will come joy

A very nice poem... I like the rhythm it had, how in each stanza the 1st and 4th would rhyme... It had nice balance and vocabs you used were superb... 5/5
