A Million Questions

by Mark Z   Jul 15, 2007

For the millions of questions we have
we hold the answers to only just a few
what are we but leaves in the wind
getting tossed from here to there
until someone steps down upon us
and cripples us in this life of ours
for all the questions we have
we have very few answers
for are we just a sidewalk
meant to be walked upon
and just giving people a place to go
while we stay in this place
and never moving in life
and all those questions still remain
and the answers are escaping everyone
all these feelings we feel inside
yet we never let our hearts follow
and take a leap of faith
for there are to many questions
yet our heart holds the only answer
with all this apathy around us
its amazing we know anything at all
with all the questions we ask
and how few answers we actually receive
