I thought my heart was over,
Broken, slashed, never to be fixed.
But somehow when I know the worst is here,
It lets me notice what else there is.
It happened so fast.
I didnt see it coming,
Let alone have a chance to stop it.
But really.
I should've seen it all along.
I was in bliss when I was with you,
Though I didn't know that it meant more
Than just being close and being friends.
I didn't think it could happen again
And certainly not so soon
I though my heart was finished,
But I was only mending it for you.
