Fading away..

by Jessie Baker   Jul 15, 2007

You watch her lie there,
Figthing for air,
with a dead blank stare,

what can you do?
what can you say?
she's fading away.

She grabs your hand,
and holds you tight,
she knows shes not going to make it through the night,
she whispers in your ear, it will all be alright.

you pull away,
you can't handle the pain,
you don't want her to go, but you know she can't stay.

ever so gently you kiss her cheek,
you know that one day it will all be fine,
you'll understand why, cause you'll seek and you'll find

that people will come and people will go,
and if you look deep inside you will find it is so
that your love will carry on with her forever you know..
