Heartbreaker From Hell

by Sorefromreality   Jul 16, 2007

Tears will trickle down his face
As she walks away from him
She's done this enough
She has no need to see her results yet again

Enough was enough, she is now done
She needed only a few days to make him fall
Get his hopes up,even with cruel intent
But she knew he would risk it all

On to the next victim, she wastes no time
Empty promises, and provocative kisses
She's an expert at this game
She never loses,never misses

A few tears to show her false concern
Before she broke free and cut all ties
Maybe one day they'll all realize
That her words and smiles were all lies

Buried under that flirty exterior
Beats a broken heart, in secret
You'll never know she's falling apart
And every morning she carries regret

Single forever, no one to hold her down
Running wild with life, she's in a selfish dream
Being alive is enough, who needs love
But there's more to her than it would seem

She can twist words, but she learned from the best
She steals your heart away, then throws it right back
Nothing keeps her content, but her own curiosity
And a heart of her own, she desperately lacks

So when you tell her you've fallen in love
Don't be surprised if she doesn't care
Because when you awake tomorrow morning
I can promise you, she won't be there.

I love this, it's sad but it's beautiful.....and yes girls break hearts too.......it's a new perspective. I like how u gave some insight into how she's more than she seems ..... like mayb she hurts others because she herself was hurt.
people are always more than they seem....u just have to look a lil closer sometimes...break thru the exterior to see the person who's inside...

//* Aww that's kind of sad. I hope you aren't like that lol.

Neverless I liked this poem. I think it's the first I've ever read where the girl is the heartbreaker 'cause most of the time the boys are. The rhyming was great too and the flow was flawless,,*

Great Job && Keep it up. Take care!
