My friend...i fell for you

Sitting all alone one day,
with nothing else to do,
when you said hello to me,
and i said hello to you,
started from a simple hello,
and odd questions to follow,
that a friendship would soon start,
that later on would soon grow,

now it feels like I've known you forever,
when in truth its only been a couple weeks,
but you get closer and closer,
when one's heart starts to speak,
yep thats right i fell for you,
still falling in love deep,
don't know how long it will last,
but even when you go I'll dream of you when i sleep,

so many things about you,
that seem to have caught my hearts eye,
but somehow i know the fairy tale,
won't end with you and I,
but as long as we stay friends,
that's all a promise i will need,
i will stand by you through everything,
your trusted loyal steed,

I'll always try to hold you back,
if you ever try to go,
i love you so much my friend,
i just want you to know,
no matter how many times you make my cry,
or break my heart inside,
I'll always be holding onto you,
have you hang out with me through life's ride,

When your mad and angry,
I'll see all that right through,
I'll give you time to calm down,
then I'll come running back to you,
It's amazing how i fell head over heels,
with just a simple hello and few questions to follow,
it's amazing how in such short time,
my love for you has begun to grow,

but i know that we will never be,
the fairy tale's happy ending,
but at least i got say,
we had out fairy tale beginning,
we may not run off in love,
as newly weds and such,
but as a friend and maybe more,
i love you dearly so much,

when you want me to do things,
i don't want to do,
just keep pushing,
you know I'll break through,
your words they mean so much,
they follow straight to the heart,
i knew you were something special,
right from the very start,

so all i wanted to say,
was your an amazing friend,
i love you more but i must face it,
we won't have a fairytale end,
but at least our friendship will last forever,
and you'll remain the owner of my heart,
