Disbelief

People change their minds,
So fast it seems untrue,
One day their attention is elsewhere,
The next it's all on you.

They say one thing,
Then something else,
And force you to leave,
Your feelings on the shelf.

You never know what to believe,
Which side of it's the truth?
So you disbelieve in all of it,
At least then you cannot lose.
