Through the Years

by Daisy if you do   Jul 16, 2007

Through the years

Now for more than thirty years
She's been there to wipe my tears
Though at times things got rough
She wrapped me in her arms of love

From grammar school to graduation
Tears of happiness and frustration
Teaching lessons of every day life
Rewards for struggles if you strive

Humble woman with no selfish pride
She's still the one in which I confide
Nights on end we just sit and talk
My Grandmother has been my rock

This is a beautiful tribute to the woman who is our 'rock'. Where would we be without them? Really nice poem.

It's hard to know what to say. Wonderful tribute to your Grandmother.

These lines really touched my heart. When I got sick and then lost my husband. My Grandma would call me everyday. She lived in California. I am in Ohio...she turned into my friend. I miss her dearly...but feel her still with me.
Thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers.
    Cindy
