More Than Anything

She's the girl that used to shout and laugh in the halls,
And act like a complete idiot with her friends,
But now some things have changed,
And her Tears of Laughter
Turned into Tears of Pain.

No one knows quite why her life has changed,
But they remain in silence,
Leaving her alone,
To fight off these mental shots.

Everyday she wakes up,
Looking down toward the ground,
Wincing away from the rays of the Sun,
She drags her tired, restless body away to school,
While her mind is left at home,
Wishing to leave this World.

She walks to school,
and Almost makes it through the day,
When she pulls out a blade,
And sends blood tripping down her wrist.

She stands there,
Looking in the Mirror,
Feeling dizzy and sick,
Wanting more than anything to leave.

That night she cries herself to sleep,
Thinking what did she ever do to deserve this pain,
Because life had once been so Amazing.

----
another old one.

Very heartfelt and catching mournful poem. So much of feelings and emotions are flowing nicely in this piece. Keep it up 5/5 all the way
