88 Hours

by Goran Rahim   Jul 17, 2007

Now it has been
88 hours
Since last time I spoke to you
Yet every second
I am in search of a new word from you.
Are you mad at me?
Or
Am I upset with you?
Yet I don't know
But
All I know is
I am dying without you

I, too, did sense the need for more coherent and elaborate details. It seemed to me to be a mere portion of an even greater poem. But then, again...

I see that you're certain not to amend this piece. Still, it's candidly expressed, with bittersweet thoughts of longing to hear one's lover once more... somewhere or wherever... hmm. Just my thoughts anyway. For a short write, you've encompassed so much already.

Nice one, nonetheless. All the best and take care! ~Marian

I did like this poem alot. I found it to be different to your usual and I'm not quite sure how. The flow was quick on it which I did like. And the last line ended this piece really well. The emotion again strong and powerful. A great piece. ~mel
