How easy to write a poem about love
Then kiss me lover and fall to your death!
Wretched thing you, hand me your heart
Or should I steal your precious breath
What with these wings you'll learn how to fly
Though I cannot teach you the ways of the best
Your sacrifice surely has earned you well
Now, show pity to Hell and to all the rest
Then from my ignorance you'll surely see
That love is a sickness of inevitability
I only want what truly cannot be
For God gives no such gift to thee
