Rain (minute poem)

by my name is Llama   Jul 17, 2007

Rain falling gently upon me
I feel so free
Runs down my cheek
Makes me feel weak

Touches my soul, opens my heart
A work of art
So I smile
Stay awhile

Until the sun begins to rise
Shine on my eyes
Inside I'm warm
I have transformed

Well i really like this one..you used the form properly and I give props to anyone who attempts form poetry cause its not that easy..which is why i stick to free verse. The rhyme was well done and I liked how you wrote about rain, which is one of my favorite things. Good job and keep it up!

I really liked the message that this poem was portraying but i feel that the flow was messed up especially in the beginning of the second stanza. other than that i believe that the words rhymed well and weren't forced. the only problem i had was with the flow.
